The following are courses that I have taught and, if available, the syllabi for those courses. I put a lot of work into these, and they can mark the evolution of a class just as much as their content. Educators that would like to adapt them have my permission to do so, and anyone can use them as a starting point for their own journey of knowledge.

Game Studies I

My personal favorite class that I've taught so far! This course shifted from being reading-intensive to discussion-focused as I adapted the course to my students' needs. I also tried to go above and beyond for these syllabi to make them enjoyable reads.

Writing for ATEC (Spring 2021)

I was a teaching assistant for this course, helmed by Dr. Laura Imaoka. As ATEC was an interdisciplinary school, plenty of students came with differing degrees of skill in writing and media analysis. In a way, this course was like other skill-based courses, like the coding classes. Only in this case, the "code" was the English language.

Attitudes and Behaviors (Fall 2020)

A more traditional communications course on how media can affect behavior (and how it can't). Led by Professor Lisa Bell, this was also the first fully-online course I assisted in during COVID.

Introduction to Technoculture (Fall 2019/Spring 2020)

While the major lecture and structure of the course was initially set by Dr. Anne Balsamo, I led one of the discussion groups in the course readings and assignments. This was a delightful intro course for thinking about the interconnetions of technology and culture.

Composition I & II (Fall 2017/Spring 2018)

A standard composition course for freshmen at ULM. While nothing groundbreaking, it was my first try at working with (and later adapting) a pre-made syllabus.

Electronic Literature (Spring 2017)

This was my first ever course, and it was my undergraduate honors thesis! I wanted to find a way to bring together my love of storytelling and my growing fascination with digital media, and this was the starting point for me. I learned a lot about how to teach, and my eternal gratitude will be given to Dr. Claudia Grinnell for her help.
